Rasiah Lines for Petroleum Services & Cont. Est. believes in continuously creating and developing our unique strength, as a business and as individuals. Rasiah Lines for Petroleum Services & Cont. Est. management, at all levels recognized the important contribution which training makes to the company's continuing profitability. We further recognize that the primary responsibility for organizing training rests with management. The person designated as the company's training officer is accountable to the General Manager for training and is responsible for setting an annual assessment of organizational training needs, as well as advising and assisting all managers on training matters and providing the necessary training services. We will adopt an open and consultative approach to determining and providing training needs.

The objectives of the training policy are:

  • To develop and communicate to our employees an understanding of where the organization is going and the contribution by involvement that the employees will make to its success.
  • To provide product update training to all consultants within the next 6 months.
  • To support the company's objectives for achieving its goals.
  • To improve the performance of Employees in their respective projects.
  • To enhance competencies to take up higher responsibilities.
  • To maximize utilization of the existing facilities for improving efficiency and increasing productivity.
  • To provide prompt, courteous and efficient service and quality products at competitive prices as per the priorities of our customers.
  • To develop the capabilities of our employees and facilitate their advancement through appropriate training and career planning. To have fair dealings with recognized representatives of employees in pursuance of healthy industrial relations practices and sound personnel policies.
  • To develop techno-economically viable and environment-friendly products. To maintain the highest standards in respect of safety, environment protection and occupational health at all production units.
  • To complete all planned projects within the scheduled time and approved cost.
  • Demonstrating leadership.
  • Striving for excellence.

A constant improvement is our aim and our regular procedures reviews will take into account suggestions made by our clients and employees on ways to improve the quality of our services.

We always tend to apply the highest standards to integrity and responsibility in our activities. Our quality management system will be operated in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001-2000.

To maximize the effectiveness of individuals, groups and the organization as a whole, to realize Company's objectives in achieving efficiency, profitability and continuing reputation for excellence amongst our customers and employees.

THE COMPANY INTENDS TO:



  • Implement a training plan which is relevant to the needs of both the Company and employees.
  • Enable all employees to gain sufficient knowledge to do their job in an efficient and effective way.
  • Identify Company and individual training needs using feedbacks from Employee Appraisals, Employee Surveys, the ‘Continuous Improvement Programmers' and Company strategies and plan.
  • Priorities training on the basis of individual and Company needs according to the available budget in hand.
  • Train by in-house and external courses and on-the-job training involving apprenticeship schemes, training organizations, company employees and management.
  • Ensure appropriate cross-training at Supervisor and Operator level to enable effort to be directed into the area wherever it is required.
  • Provide introduction training to newcomers to ensure an appreciation of the organization and early integration with the company, its management and other employees.
  • Participate in Saudi Arabian Government training initiatives such as work experience, training programmers and craft apprenticeship, providing training to meet the needs of the company and its social responsibilities in the community.
  • Encourage development of computing skills and use of new technology at all levels, through appropriate courses and training in order to compete with the rest of the world.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training using self-assessment, performance appraisal and assessment of future potential within the company's management structure.
  • Maintaining training records for each employee identifying training needs, qualification attained, courses and programmed attended and performance which will benefit in the development of the company.
  • Recognize skills attained by employees and account for these in assessments and reviews for further development.
